Ahmed is the Central & Eastern Europe TMT Sector Lead at IFC. For the past four years he has focused on IFC’s TMT investments in the region, covering multiple segments of the digital infrastructure space (such as mobile networks, wholesale and retail broadband networks, independent towers, and data centers) along with the media and late-stage technology sectors. Prior to joining IFC, Ahmed worked as an Investment Banker in Deutsche Bank and in Citigroup in London, covering the infrastructure sector. He is currently based in Vienna, Austria.
